8000 North is gated with 80 homes. The pool is in the middle and most homes have views with sliding glass doors from the living room to the patio and views of the common area.
Built in 1965 there is still a lot of Mid-Century charm to this community. The large grassy area with the pool in the middle is a clear sign the community was built mid-century. As with all mid-century community’s some homes have been updated and some still have the mid-century appliances and charm.
The community has 3 addresses. 8000 North Central Ave, 2 West Northern and 10 West Northern but they all have the same community name.
At North Central Avenu you’re between I-17 and the 51. It’s also a short ride to the North Central Area of many popular restaurants like Postino’s, Windsor and Federal Pizza. With just 15 minutes to downtown Phoenix and 20 to the Biltmore Financial District, you really aren’t far and in more of a suburb feeling area. You also have the Bridle Path on Central Ave from Bethany Homes Road to the canal north of Northern. People walk, jog and walk their dogs along this path daily.
This area is was established over 50 years ago with larger homes for the upper income family’s. Over the years it remains a very nice community with larger homes and yards. Many condos and townhomes have been built along Central Ave giving these homeowners front row access to the every popular Bridle Trail. Many years ago people did have horses on many of these properties but no longer that I’m aware of.
If this community isn’t exactly what you are looking for then let Brokers Hub Realty help you find your perfect home by showing you some of the many other wonderful condos in the downtown Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale areas. If you need to sell your current residence, we can help you there as well.
