The Orpheum Loft building was built as a Title and Trust Building in the 1930's. It remained an office building until late in the 20th Century until it was finally converted to loft style condos. The entire building was gutted to concrete and steal before starting all over on the inside.
Orpheum Lofts is on the Northwest corner of Adams Street and 1st Avenue in downtown Phoenix. Just a few blocks to the Chase Field Ball Park and US Airways Arena. Of course, the Phoenix Convention Center, Herburger Theather, Phoenix Symphony and dozens of the valley's best restaurants are all close by.
Downtown Phoenix has come along way in the past 10 to 15 years. ASU put a campus in Downtown which really helped the rebound we now see. There are historic homes and condos in the downtown area as well and many new condos and apartments. The number of restaurants have increased dramatically giving many choices. One of the best things I love about living downtown is all the festivals most weekends during our cool weather months.
