F.W. Mathieson’s original plan to develop a neighborhood in an “Americanized Dutch” style was never realized, showcasing rather a prominent concentration of the Ranch style home. Fairview also is a wonderful neighborhood to view Southwest, Tudor, and Spanish Colonial Revival – all in close proximity to Encanto Park and the State Fairgrounds.
