Cheery Lynn was a prototype neighborhood of its time through its homes’ defined character and identity.  Predominantly built in English-influenced architecture, the initial success of the neighborhood relied on the packaging of neighborhood amenities, financing and architectural design.  Later designs were modest versions of the French Provincial Ranch style.
